Okan Oktar

Okan Oktar is an experienced engineering professional currently serving as Engineering Lead at Wise since January 2019, with a background as a Software Engineer. Prior experience includes a role as Senior Software Engineer at Yapı Kredi, where involvement centered on microservice transformation of payment systems applications utilizing Java, Spring Boot, and related technologies. Okan has also worked as a Software Engineer at Dogus Teknoloji and Garanti Teknoloji, focusing on full-stack development for various projects across different industries, employing technologies such as ASP.NET and MS SQL Server. Okan holds a Master’s degree in Computer Software Engineering from Boğaziçi University and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from Ege University.
