Luca Ravagnan

Luca Ravagnan began their work experience in 2002 as a PhD student at the University of Milano, where they completed their doctoral studies in 2005. Luca then went on to work as a post-doctorate at the University of Milan from 2006 to 2011. In 2011, Ravagnan became the CEO and co-founder of WISE S.r.l., a medical device company specializing in the development of Neuromonitoring and Neuromodulation leads using their proprietary Supersonic technology. Currently, Ravagnan is also a member of the Governing Council at Lombardy's Life Sciences Cluster, a community supporting the advancement of life sciences in the Lombardy region.

Luca Ravagnan has an extensive education history. In 1995, they completed their International Baccalaureate degree, specializing in Physics, Maths, Chemistry, and Economics, at the United World College of the Adriatic. Following that, from 1997 to 2002, Luca Ravagnan attended Università degli Studi di Milano and earned a Doctorate in Physics with a focus on Nanotechnology and Nanostructured materials. After a few years, they pursued further education and completed a PhD in Physics, Nanotechnology, and Carbon clusters at Università degli Studi di Milano from 2002 to 2005.

In 2014, Luca Ravagnan attended the Business Development Academy Italia for a short-term course on Business Development in the Healthcare sector. Later, from 2016 to 2018, they pursued an Executive MBA at SDA Bocconi.

In addition to their formal education, Luca Ravagnan also obtained a certification in "Endeavor Scaling Entrepreneurial Ventures" from Harvard Business School Executive Education in September 2022.
