Larry Foster

Larry Foster is an accomplished aerospace engineer with extensive experience in composite engineering and management. Currently serving as the Composite Engineering Team Manager at Wisk since March 2022, Larry previously held the position of Technical Fellow, Composite Structures at Pratt & Whitney from July 2010 to March 2022, where responsibilities included overseeing design execution and technology development for composite components across engine products and mentoring a team of 50 engineers. In addition to industry roles, Larry has contributed to academia as an adjunct faculty member at the University of Connecticut, teaching graduate-level courses in composites design and mechanics. Larry's career also includes various engineering positions with companies such as Foster Engineering, Vanguard Composites Group, and McDonnell Douglas Aerospace, showcasing a strong background in mechanical engineering and composite materials. Larry holds a Master of Science in Aerospace Engineering from Virginia Tech and a Bachelor of Science in Applied Mechanics from UC San Diego.
