Douglas Ollerenshaw is a Computational Neuroscientist with extensive experience in data analysis and algorithm development in neuroscience. At Wispr, Douglas has been contributing as a Computational Neuroscientist since December 2022. Previously, at Inscopix, Inc., from September 2021 to November 2022, Douglas focused on product and application development for miniscope technology. Prior to that, at the Allen Institute for Brain Science, Douglas held various positions from Scientist I to Scientific Data Engineer III from September 2013 to August 2021, leading efforts in neural data modeling, experimental pipeline implementation, and visual behavior research. Douglas holds a PhD in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology and a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Oregon State University. Douglas's early career includes consulting in aerospace engineering and internships in mechanical engineering, establishing a solid foundation in engineering principles.
