Luís Vaz

Luís Vaz is an experienced lead engineer at WIT since July 2014, specializing in the design, planning, and development of software solutions for mobile operators and internet companies. With a strong background in software development using languages such as Java, Python, and C/C++, Luís has expertise in cloud technologies (AWS), web platforms (APIGEE, J2EE), and various databases (PostgreSQL, Oracle). Previously, Luís held roles as a senior software engineer and software engineer at Acontrol, focusing on industrial process monitoring and control, and as a researcher at the Institute of Systems and Robotics, where Luís implemented algorithms in a modular real-time architecture. An electrical engineering degree was earned from Universidade de Coimbra, completing studies in 2008.
