Rodrigo Haas de Araujo Rech has a diverse work experience in the technology field. Rodrigo is currently working at Clutch as the Head of Infrastructure, where they are responsible for building, maintaining, and operating Cloud Infrastructure using AWS. Rodrigo also leads a cloud engineering team, assists software engineering teams with infrastructure and security issues, and manages compliance and security for the company.

Prior to Clutch, Rodrigo worked at Thoughtworks, starting as a Junior Software Developer and progressing to Senior Infrastructure Engineer and Tech Lead - Lead Infrastructure Engineer. In these roles, they worked with clients in various industries, including gym/fitness and aviation. Rodrigo was involved in the development, monitoring, and maintenance of cloud infrastructure using technologies such as AWS, Terraform, EKS/Kubernetes, Istio, Datadog, and CircleCI. Rodrigo also played a key role in the transition to micro-service architecture with Docker and CI/CD.

Before joining Thoughtworks, Rodrigo worked as a Junior Software Developer on a prototype development project for a large agribusiness company. Rodrigo also participated in an immersive training program in India where they gained knowledge in agile methodologies, consulting techniques, working with legacy code, and software development best practices.

Rodrigo's early work experience includes being a Bolsista de Iniciação Científica at CNPq - MCT and a Trainee at SULTECH SISTEMAS ELETRÔNICOS LTDA.

Rodrigo Haas de Araujo Rech began their education by pursuing a Técnico em Eletrônica degree at Fundação Escola Técnica Liberato Salzano Vieira da Cunha from 2008 to 2011. Rodrigo then enrolled in the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul, where they studied Computer Engineering from 2013 to 2018. Following this, Rodrigo continued their education at the same university, now pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science starting in 2019 (ongoing).

In addition to their formal education, Rodrigo has obtained several certifications. Rodrigo completed courses such as "NGINX Web Server Deep Dive," "DevOps Essentials," and "Managing Applications and Infrastructure with Terraform" from Linux Academy. Rodrigo also completed courses including "Elastic Cloud Infrastructure: Containers and Services," "Elastic Cloud Infrastructure: Scaling and Automation," "Essential Cloud Infrastructure: Core Services," and "Essential Cloud Infrastructure: Foundation" from Coursera. Furthermore, Rodrigo obtained a certification in "Google Cloud Platform Fundamentals: Core Infrastructure" from Coursera and a certification in "Google Cloud - Professional Cloud Architect" from Google Cloud Platform Certified. Additionally, they completed the "Academia Java Web e Desktop" certification program from Universidade do Vale do Rio dos Sinos - UNISINOS and an "Inglês - Programa Avançado" certification from Yázigi.
