Matt Loper

Matthew Loper is a Co-Founder at Count, where he is involved in developing systems for shape and pose estimation of human bodies from images. Prior to joining Count, Matthew worked as a Senior Applied Scientist at Amazon and as a Senior CV/ML Research Scientist at Body Labs. He also has experience as a Research and Development Engineer at Industrial Light and Magic and as a Computer Scientist at Max Planck Institute for Intelligent Systems. Matthew holds a Dr. rer. nat. in Computer Science from the University of Tübingen, a Masters in Computer Science from Brown University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics/Psychology from Connecticut College.
