Alan M.

Alan M. has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Alan is currently working as a Principal Investigator at WithSecure since March 2022. Prior to this, they held the same position at F-Secure Corporation from September 2019 to March 2022.

Before their roles at F-Secure and WithSecure, Alan M. worked at MWR InfoSecurity. Alan served as a Principal Incident Response Investigator from January 2018 to September 2019, and as a Senior Investigator from May 2015 to December 2017.

In their earlier career, Alan M. worked at Ernst & Young as a Manager - Cybercrime Investigations from November 2011 to April 2015. Prior to that, they were a Principle Forensic Consultant at Melmac Solutions Limited from August 2009 to November 2011.

Alan M. started their professional journey at Microsoft in 1995. Alan held various roles at Microsoft, including Forensic Investigator from August 2006 to August 2009, Escalation Engineer from July 1998 to July 2006, and Support Engineer from July 1995 to June 1998.

Lastly, Alan M. began their career as a Systems Programmer at British Telecom in 1980, where they worked until 1995.

Alan M. completed their education at Cranfield University from 2008 to 2015, earning an MSc degree in Computer Forensics. In addition to their degree, they also obtained certifications including the GIAC Response and Industrial Defense (GRID) from Global Information Assurance Certification (GIAC) in February 2018, CISSP from (ISC)2 in August 2009, and MCITP from Microsoft in 1995.
