Jarno Virta

Jarno Virta is an experienced professional with a strong background in both legal and technical fields. Currently serving as a Senior Developer at WithSecure since July 2022, Jarno focuses on backend development for the company's detection and response solution. Prior to this, Jarno held roles including Senior DevOps Engineer and DevOps Engineer at WithSecure and F-Secure Corporation, specializing in DevOps for identity and access management (IAM) solutions utilizing Java and Node technologies. Jarno’s legal expertise was developed over several years in various roles, including Senior Legal Advisor at the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, where legislative work and legal advice on national and EU law were key responsibilities. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Computer Science from the University of Helsinki and multiple advanced law degrees from universities in Finland and France.
