Paul Blomstedt

Paul Blomstedt is a Senior Data Scientist at WithSecure since March 2022 and serves as an Advisor at iloom.io focusing on machine learning. Previously, Paul was a Senior Data Scientist at F-Secure Corporation from August 2019 to March 2022. Additionally, Paul worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Helsinki Institute for Information Technology/Aalto University from September 2014 to June 2019, conducting research on probabilistic machine learning and related fields, and at the University of Helsinki as a Postdoctoral Researcher specializing in population dynamics modeling. Earlier experience includes a role as a Statistician at the National Institute for Health and Welfare from January 2007 to December 2013 and research as a Doctoral Student at Åbo Akademi focusing on Bayesian predictive models. Paul holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Statistics from Åbo Akademi University.
