Steven Monacelli

Steven Monacelli is a seasoned Certified Public Accountant with nearly 40 years of experience in accounting, tax, and business consulting. Currently a Partner at Withum since November 2021, Steven specializes in helping clients nationwide develop growth and exit strategies that enhance business value and personal wealth while ensuring compliance with intricate tax regulations. Prior to this role, Steven served as a Partner at Restivo Monacelli LLP from September 1990 to November 2021, with expertise in areas such as business transactions, financing strategies, succession planning, and tax strategy for various industries. Earlier in Steven's career, positions included Senior Tax Accountant at Ernst & Young and Tax Accountant at KPMG US. Steven earned a Master of Science in Taxation and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus on Accounting from Bryant University. In recognition of outstanding contributions, Steven received a Certificate of Congressional Recognition in 2015 for being named one of the "Top Public Accounting Professionals for Rhode Island."
