Julien Lubimiv

Julien Lubimiv has a diverse range of work experience. Their most recent position is as a Software Developer at WithYouWithMe, starting in November 2021.

Before that, Julien worked as an ACSL 3D Tech Artist and Environmental Artist at Algonquin College of Applied Arts and Technology from September 2020 to May 2021. In this role, they researched and applied AR, VR, and mixed reality technologies while creating and organizing workflows with PBR materials, shaders, and particle effects.

Prior to their role at the college, Julien was a Promoter of the GoodEGG Program and Environmental Stewardship at the Child Poverty Action Network (CPAN) from April 2018 to September 2018. Julien promoted the Good EGG program and compiled data on participants, as well as researched ways to incorporate environmental stewardship into community and classroom lessons.

Julien also has experience with the Department of National Defence. In 2017, they worked as a Roads and Grounds Laborer, maintaining gardens, grass, and roads at a military base. In 2016, they were a Drafting Technician Assistant, reviewing mechanical floor plans and managing asset inventory.

In addition, Julien has worked at Aldar Creek Dog Kennel as a Canine Handler, providing care for dogs and maintaining a clean and safe environment. Julien was also a Fido Customer Service Representative at HGS - Hinduja Global Solutions, where they handled customer inquiries and resolved billing issues.

Julien began their work experience as a Guitar Instructor and Cashier at McGarry's Music (Music World), teaching guitar and selling musical merchandise.

Overall, Julien has gained experience in software development, 3D art, environmental stewardship, labor, drafting, customer service, and music instruction throughout their career.

Julien Lubimiv attended Algonquin College of Applied Arts and Technology from 2017 to 2021, where they pursued a degree in Game Development. Their field of study focused on Game Development. Prior to this, from 2005 to 2011, Julien obtained their High School Diploma from Bishop Smith Catholic High School, specializing in General Studies.
