Matthew Carroll has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and organizations. Matthew is currently working as a Software Developer at WithYouWithMe since September 2022. Prior to that, they were the Campaigns Director at Leadnow.ca - À l'Action from March 2011 to December 2016. Matthew also worked as a Writer/Researcher at DeSmog Blog in 2011. Matthew was the External Communications Coordinator at UNFCCC Youth Constituency from November 2009 to March 2010. Additionally, they served as the New Media Lead Coordinator at Power Shift Canada from August to October 2009. Matthew worked at the BC Ministry of Environment as a Climate Action Facilitator from October 2008 to October 2009 and as an Idle-Free Ambassador from May to October 2008. Matthew was actively involved in international negotiations and youth engagement related to climate change and sustainability. Matthew served as the Youth Caucus Coordinator for the Global North at the UN Commission on Sustainable Development from 2005 to 2007. In addition, Matthew was a Youth Engagement Facilitator at the UN Climate Negotiations in 2005.
Matthew Carroll 🌊 started their education at the University of Leeds in 1999, where they pursued a degree in Chemistry. This course lasted until 2003. Additionally, Matthew furthered their education at the University of Toronto from 2001 to 2002, focusing on Chemistry and obtaining another MChem degree.
