Gary Blievernicht has a strong background in engineering and operations management in the broadcasting industry. gary started their career at KNME - University of New Mexico in 1983, where they initially served as the Engineering Supervisor and later took on the role of Acting Director. During their time there, they successfully supervised and scheduled the operations staff and oversaw the entire engineering department. Notable achievements include securing grant funding from PTFP and relocating the RMCPB uplink system from Denver to Albuquerque. In 1985, they moved on to Eastern Educational Network, where they held the position of Engineering & Operations Manager. In this role, they were responsible for program evaluation, duplication, and delivery of a significant amount of content each week, as well as scheduling and overseeing a large terrestrial network spanning from Maine to Washington DC. gary joined WKAR AM FM TV at Michigan State University in 1992 as the Director of Engineering, and continues to hold this position.
Gary Blievernicht attended Lawrence Central in Lawrence, IN from 1965 to 1969. Following their high school education, they pursued a degree in EET at IUPUI, Purdue Extension, Indianapolis from 1970 to 1983, and successfully obtained a BS in the field.
