Pheben Kassahun

Pheben Kassahun is an experienced anchor and reporter currently working at WKBW-TV, where responsibilities include anchoring the noon and 5:30 p.m. newscasts. Previously, Kassahun served as an evening anchor and reporter for Nexstar Media Group, Inc. at WJHL & ABC Tri-Cities, covering prime-time news, and as a weekend anchor/producer and reporter at KTAB & KRBC. Kassahun's early career included roles as a reporter and weekend producer for News-Press & Gazette Company in Idaho and as a digital content producer for KNWA/FOX24 in Arkansas. Kassahun began professional development as a student intern at KNWA/FOX24 and gained further experience through roles at the University of Arkansas, including reporting for UATV and writing for The Arkansas Traveler. Kassahun holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism and Political Science from the University of Arkansas and has also pursued education at Texas Woman's University.
