Liz Edelstein

Liz Edelstein, MD, FACEP, FAWM, currently serves as the Medical Director for Yellowstone National Park at STGi since January 2023 and for Midway Atoll and Yellowstone National Park Clinics at Medcor since January 2020. An Emergency Medicine Physician at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus since May 2018, Liz also contributes as an Associate Editor and feature writer for the Wilderness Medical Society and has held various leadership roles, including Supervising Physician for Yellowstone National Park Medical Clinics and Director of Undergraduate Medical Education at Thomas Jefferson University Hospitals. With extensive experience in disaster preparedness during a tenure at Kaiser Permanente, Liz has also been involved in Wilderness Medicine education and training for medical professionals, exemplified by directing elective courses and serving as faculty at Thomas Jefferson University Hospitals. Educational background includes an MD from Thomas Jefferson University and a BA in Neuroscience from Oberlin College.
