Renita Fonseca

Renita Fonseca, CAE, CMP, is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in association management and leadership. Currently serving as the CEO of the Wilderness Medical Society since September 2018, Renita has spearheaded initiatives related to wilderness medical challenges. Prior to this role, Renita was the Executive Director of the Texas Radiological Society from November 2002 to July 2018, where significant organizational transformations were achieved. Renita's background also includes serving as Executive Director for the Texas Club of Internists and various managerial roles within the Texas Medical Association. Notably, Renita managed a substantial grant for the General Internal Medicine Preceptorship Program, showcasing an ability to enhance recruitment and operational efficiency. Renita's educational foundation includes a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies from Texas Tech University and international experience through participation in Up with People.
