Abigail Leavins

Abigail Leavins is an accomplished reporter with extensive experience in local journalism, currently serving as the main reporter for Adams Publishing Group LLC, where coverage includes local government, school districts, and community events across multiple newspapers in Jefferson County. Abigail has also held positions at various media organizations, including Wisconsin Media Group, where reporting skills were further developed, and The Capital Times as a freelance writer. Prior roles include leadership positions at The Badger Herald, where Abigail co-led video production and served as Arts Editor, along with experience as a news associate contributing to state political coverage. Abigail has interned with Isthmus and WMTV NBC 15 and has worked freelance as a city council reporter for the Fitchburg Star and in niche reporting at WORT FM Madison.
