Sandy B.

Sandy B. is an accomplished podcaster and journalist currently serving as the creator, host, and producer of the "Doing Nothing (with Sandy)" podcast at WNYU Radio since September 2023, after previously hosting "How to Diaspora." As a reporter at WNYU, Sandy pitches and creates audio stories in both English and Spanish. Previous experiences include a News Fellowship at WCVB Channel 5, a Communications/PR internship at Factchequeado, and writing positions at Static Magazine and Washington Square News, where Sandy managed the music beat and provided insights into pop culture. Sandy also contributed to NYU Local and Sampan Newspaper while gaining research experience at the Metropolitan Waterworks Museum. Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts degree in Comparative Literature and Social & Cultural Analysis at New York University, Sandy has demonstrated a commitment to journalistic integrity and cultural advocacy throughout various writing and media roles.
