Matthew Whipple has extensive work experience in risk management and legal counsel roles. Matthew served as the Vice President of Risk Management and Senior Counsel at Wohlsen Construction Company, where they provided leadership in contracts, claims management, and insurance. Additionally, they were responsible for overseeing safety and prequalification programs and ensuring compliance with legal frameworks. Prior to this role, they worked as the Director of Risk Management at the same company.

Before their tenure at Wohlsen Construction Company, Whipple worked at Eckert Seamans as a Member of the Construction, Commercial Litigation, and Data Security and Privacy practice groups. Matthew also served as an Associate Attorney at the firm. At Jonah's Call Anglican Church, they held the position of Senior Warden and contributed to strategic planning and onboarding of a new rector. Matthew also played a vital role as the Chair of the Allegheny County Bar Association - Construction Law Section and served as a Member of the Board of Trustees at SAMS - Society of Anglican Missionaries and Senders. Matthew Whipple attended the University of Pennsylvania from 2000 to 2004, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in History. Matthew then went on to study at the William and Mary Law School from 2004 to 2007, earning a Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree.
