Rachel Calahong-Monzon

Rachel Calahong-Monzon is an experienced educator and project coordinator with a diverse background in teaching and management. Currently a First Grade Teacher at Redwood Day since August 2021, Rachel has also served as a Lead 6th Grade Science Teacher at Aim High and held various teaching positions, including roles at Orinda Union School District and Prospect Sierra School. Rachel's expertise includes developing interactive learning environments, pioneering hybrid teaching methods, and performing student assessments. Additionally, Rachel has demonstrated strong project management skills as a Project Coordinator at WolfPak Labs, and has experience in content creation, data production, and office coordination across various companies, including CBS Interactive and Facebook. Rachel holds a teaching credential in Elementary Education from California State University, Fresno, and dual Bachelor's degrees in Journalism from San Francisco State University.
