Duane Miller

Duane Miller has a diverse work experience. Duane currently works as a Manufacturing Equipment Maintenance Technician Shift Lead at Wolfspeed, starting in September 2021. Prior to that, they served as a Student Success Coach Ambassador at Wake Technical Community College from January 2018 to December 2019, where they assisted students in navigating college life and academic expectations. From January 2017 to June 2018, Duane worked as a Mechanical Fabricator at Bahnson Environmental Specialties, LLC.

Duane'searliest work experience was in the US Navy, where they served as a Nuclear Machinist Mate Student from April 2009 to March 2011, followed by a role as a Nuclear Machinist Mate from April 2011 to November 2016.

Duane Miller attended Wake Technical Community College from 2017 to 2019 and earned an Associate of Science (AS) degree in Physics. Prior to that, in 2015, they attended the R-114 Air Conditioning Plant Combined Maintenance School. In 2010, they attended the Nuclear Prototype Training Unit, and in 2009, they attended both the Naval Nuclear Power School and the Machinist's Mate Nuclear Field "A" School.
