Priya Almelkar

Priya Almelkar is currently the Chief Information Officer and Vice President of IT Manufacturing Operations at Wolfspeed, where responsibilities include IT manufacturing applications and data analytics since January 2021. Prior to this role, Priya served as Senior Director of Global Infrastructure Operations and Enterprise Architecture at GLOBALFOUNDRIES from July 2015 to January 2021, focusing on global IT enterprise architecture, infrastructure operations, and disaster recovery. Previous experience includes positions as IT Security Manager and IT Manager at Payless ShoeSource, encompassing security analytics, network and cloud security, and infrastructure project management from February 2010 to July 2015. Earlier roles involved various technical and program management positions at Sprint between 1999 and 2010. Priya holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Management Information Systems from Oklahoma State University.
