Joanne Page has a diverse work experience spanning across multiple industries. Starting in 1988 with Orica as a Production Chemist, they then worked at Rio Tinto as a Production and Technical Services Graduate from 1991 to 1994. Following that, they joined Metal Manufactures Limited as a Technical Services Coordinator and later became the Technical Services, Health, Safety, and Environment Manager. In 2003, they joined TAHMOOR COAL PTY LTD as an Approvals, Environment, and Community Coordinator. Moving forward, they joined BHP Billiton in 2005 and held various roles such as HSEC and Training Manager, Health, Safety, Environment, and Community Improvement Manager, and ultimately became the Head of Health, Safety, and Environment from 2012 to 2015. Joanne Page has a diverse education history, with a range of qualifications obtained from various institutions. In 1988, they attended the University of Wollongong and earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree with a specialization in Chemistry. Following this, in 1992, they pursued further education at the same university and obtained a Master of Environmental Science (Hons) degree, focusing on Environmental studies. In 1995, they enrolled in TAFE NSW and completed several certificate programs, including Certificate IV Supervisor and Quality Auditor. Additionally, they pursued specialized training in Occupational Health and Safety, earning a Diploma in 1998 from TAFE NSW. Further expanding their expertise, Joanne attended TAFE NSW in 1996 and completed courses in Environmental Audit and OHS Audit. Lastly, they are currently enrolled at the Australian Institute of Company Directors, pursuing a Company Directors Course, with an expected completion date in 2023.
