Layne Austin

Layne Austin has extensive experience in business development and sales, currently holding a position at Wolverine Fire Protection Co. since January 2015. Previously, Layne worked at Walmart from November 2009 to May 2015, where roles included Sales Associate, Department Manager of Health and Beauty, and Cashier Customer Service, demonstrating strong leadership and innovative merchandising techniques that significantly boosted sales. During a marketing internship at Executive Fan, LLC, Layne developed a marketing plan that increased sales by 30% and successfully presented a marketing initiative to Walmart Corporate, leading to product placements in 3,000 stores. Layne holds a Bachelor of Science in Communication from Central Michigan University and participated in a Spanish Immersion Program in Puebla, Mexico.
