Kendy Rannenberg

Kendy Rannenberg has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Kendy currently works at Databricks as the Manager Sales Development for Central Europe, a position they started in September 2021. Prior to this, Kendy was involved with Women in Big Data as the Munich Chapter Co-Lead since July 2018. Kendy has also worked at Thales as a Global Marketing Programs Manager from March 2020 to September 2021, Business Development Manager for DACH & Northern Europe from November 2015 to March 2020, and DACH Business Development for Software Monetization from August 2014 to October 2015.

Before joining Thales, Kendy worked at XING EVENTS GmbH as an Inside Sales Manager for Key Accounts from June 2013 to August 2014. Kendy also has experience as a DACH Business Development Manager at Telelingua International from February 2011 to June 2013, and in EMEA Customer Education Services at Wind River from August 2010 to February 2011.

Earlier in their career, Kendy held roles in EMEA Marketing Localization at Trend Micro from August 2007 to August 2010, Global Localization and Translation Management at Destinator Technologies (Intrinsyc Software) from May 2006 to July 2007, and Global Sales & Marketing in the Broadcasting Division at Rohde & Schwarz from May 1997 to May 2006.

Kendy Rannenberg obtained their degree in "beeidigte Übersetzerin & Simultan-Dolmetscherin" in Languages from FAK München. Kendy attended this school from 1999 to 2002. Prior to that, they studied at Nürnberger Fremdspracheninstitut from 1992 to 1995, where they earned a degree in "Fremdsprachenkorrespondentin" in Languages. In addition to their formal education, they also obtained a certification in "Big Data in the Age of AI" from LinkedIn in October 2021.
