Blerina Vila

Blerina Vila is a highly experienced expert in gender equality, currently serving as a Senior Expert at INTEGRATION Consulting Group, and holding multiple key positions across organizations such as NIRAS International Consulting, Women in Global Health, and Wexam Consulting. With extensive expertise in gender mainstreaming, capacity development, and international cooperation, Blerina has provided technical advice and developed methodologies for integrating gender into policies and programs. Blerina's current research focuses on health economics, HIV/AIDS, and maternal and child health, particularly in Southern Africa. Formerly a Senior Gender Expert for the European Commission, Blerina has worked on various projects related to gender analysis and advocacy against child labor, contributing to global efforts in advancing gender equality and human rights throughout numerous countries. Blerina holds a Master's degree in International Law of Human Rights from Central European University and a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry from the University of Tirana.
