Merette Khalil is a seasoned public health professional with extensive experience in global health advocacy and communications. As Co-Founder of Women in Global Health since November 2021 and Advocacy and Communications Manager for White Ribbon Alliance since January 2023, Merette Khalil plays a vital role in promoting health equity. Merette Khalil has been a Consultant with the World Health Organization since 2017, specializing in hospital resilience, COVID-19 response, and health workforce development. Additionally, Merette Khalil serves as Vice Chair of the Knowledge and Evidence Working Group at PMNCH and leads YourEgyptianDoula, a venture aimed at eliminating obstetric violence through education. Merette Khalil's prior experience includes serving as a Patient Advocate at Community of Hope DC. Merette Khalil holds a Master of Public Health in Health Systems Management from KIT and a Bachelor of Science in Public Health from Saint Louis University.
