Steph Hess

Stephanie Hess serves as the Chief Communications Officer at Discord since April 2024, continuing a robust career in communications and leadership. As an Advisory Council Member for Women in Revenue since October 2023, Stephanie contributes to fostering equity in professional development for women. Currently, Stephanie also holds positions as Vice Chair and Board Member for the Oakland Roots and Soul Foundation, focusing on race and gender justice in sports. Membership at Mixing Board allows Stephanie to collaborate with leading communications professionals. Previously, at Asana, Stephanie was the Head of Global Communications and Corporate Marketing, where significant contributions included preparing the company's transition to public status. Stephanie's extensive experience spans leadership roles at Zynga, Hara, and Sun Microsystems, coupled with a foundational education in Mass Communications from California State University - East Bay.
