Maria L. Duhart

Maria L. Duhart is an accomplished insurance executive with extensive experience in commercial surety and specialty underwriting. Currently serving as the Head of US - East Zone and Chief Underwriting Officer for Americas Specialty at AXA XL since May 2017, Maria has also held significant roles at Nationwide Insurance and Chubb NA, including Head of Large Commercial Surety and Regional Commercial Surety Manager. As a board member of Women in Surety since January 2017, Maria is dedicated to promoting diversity in the industry. Maria's educational background includes an MBA in Finance from NYU Stern School of Business, a CFA Charter, and a BA in Economics from Pontificia Universidad Católica Argentina 'Santa María de los Buenos Aires'.
