Ellen Voie

Ellen Voie has a diverse work experience in the transportation industry. In 1984, they started working as a Transportation Consultant, and in 2000, they became the Executive Director of TRUCKER BUDDY INTERNATIONAL INC. In 2006, they joined Schneider National as the Manager of Recruiting and Retention Programs. In 2007, they founded the Women In Trucking Association, where they currently hold the position of Founder and President/CEO. Additionally, they worked as a Consultant for Truckstop.com, where they supported corporate-level initiatives and promoted networking opportunities. With their extensive experience, Ellen Voie has been actively working to increase the representation of women in transportation careers.

Ellen Voie's education history includes a Master of Arts degree in Communication from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point, which they obtained between 1995 and 1999. In 2018, they completed an Executive Program in Finance for Strategic Decision Making at Penn State University. In the same year, they also completed an Executive Program in Strategic Leadership at Penn State University.

Ellen Voie is currently pursuing a Certificate Program in Customer Experience at the University of Wisconsin-Parkside, which they started in an undisclosed year and is expected to complete in 2023. Additionally, they earned a Certificate in Strategy & Organization Performance from the Penn State Smeal College of Business in 2022.
