Katherine K. Leon is a co-founder and board chair of SCAD Alliance, actively engaged since November 2013. In addition, Katherine has served as an advisory board member for the National Center for Health Research since 2019, contributing to patient-centered research efforts. Katherine is also a steering committee member of the iSCAD Registry for Spontaneous Coronary Artery Dissection and Heart Attack since October 2017, supporting global SCAD research collaboration. Furthermore, Katherine has been a WomenHeart Champion since October 2009, advocating for women with heart disease. Katherine holds a Master’s degree in Journalism/Integrated Marketing Communications from Northwestern University and a Bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Virginia.
