Alicia De Sena is a seasoned project manager currently serving the Connecticut Department of Economic and Community Development as the Project Manager for the Community Investment Fund 2030 since May 2024. Previously, Alicia worked with the Women's Business Development Council from August 2020 to May 2024, holding roles as Opportunity Fund Program Manager and Opportunity Fund Program Coordinator, where responsibilities included managing multiple grant programs and facilitating over $2 million in small business grants across Connecticut. Alicia has also contributed to environmental analysis as a Watershed Analyst at the Pequabuck River Watershed Association and conducted marketing research at Uplands Energy Solutions. Alicia holds a Master of Science in Geography with a focus on Global Sustainability and a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Central Connecticut State University.
