Amy Gleiser has a diverse work experience spanning various sectors. Amy is currently the Director of the Learning Institute at Women's College Hospital, where they are responsible for developing and executing strategies for the Education department. Prior to this, Amy served as the Chair of the School of Business at Conestoga College, providing academic and administrative leadership. Amy also held the position of Professor and Program Coordinator in the same institution, where they were involved in program planning and delivery. Amy has also worked as the Chief Executive Officer of a Women's Health and Wellness Retail Business and as the Chief Political Strategist for the Government of Ontario. Amy began their career as a Communications & Campaign Strategist at Political Party Headquarters in Toronto and Ottawa.

Amy Gleiser obtained a Bachelor's degree in History from Wilfrid Laurier University in 2005. Amy later pursued a Master of Arts in Integrated Studies-Adult Education from Athabasca University, completing their degree in 2016. Currently, they are enrolled at Arizona State University, where they are working towards a Doctor of Education - EdD degree in Leadership and Innovation, with an expected completion in 2024.

In addition to their formal education, Amy Gleiser has obtained several certifications. This includes the San'yas Indigenous Cultural Safety Training and the Carbon Literacy Standard in 2023. In 2021, they obtained certifications in Mental Health First Aid Canada, Transformational Leadership and Development Program, IRB – Social and Behavioral Research, and RCR – Social and Behavioral Responsible Conduct of Research. Finally, in 2018, they completed the College Educator Development Program offered by Western Region Colleges.
