Marie Pinard

Marie Pinard has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Marie currently serves as the Associate Director at the Centre for Quality Improvement and Patient Safety (C-QuIPS) since June 2020. Prior to this role, they were the Director of Quality, Safety, and Patient Experience at Women's College Hospital starting from July 2017. Marie Pinard also worked as an Adjunct Lecturer at the University of Toronto, Institute of Health Policy, Management, and Evaluation from March 2015.

Before their time at Women's College Hospital and the university, Marie Pinard had a long tenure at The Hospital for Sick Children. Additionally, they hold certifications as a Certified Professional in Patient Safety (CPPS) from the Certification Board for Professionals in Patient Safety (obtained in 2012), and as a Registered Nurse (RN) from the College of Nurses of Ontario (obtained in 1989). Marie also obtained an IHI Open School Basic Certificate in Quality & Safety from IHI, although the year of attainment is unknown.
