Monica Johnson

Monica Johnson possesses a diverse and extensive background in education, sports, and public service. Currently serving as a Guest Teacher for the Cajon Valley Union School District, Monica monitors elementary school recess and follows instructional materials. As a defensive linewoman for the San Diego Rebellion in the Women's National Football Conference, Monica has fulfilled lifelong dreams through competitive sports. Previous roles include City Research Scientist at NYC Soci, where data analysis and project management for the Department of Homeless Services were key responsibilities, and Budget Analyst at the New York City Mayor's Office of Management and Budget, managing financial compliance and estimating fiscal impacts. Early career experiences include serving as a Project Manager at ONergy, facilitating community engagement, and volunteering as an AmeriCorps VIP Volunteer Coordinator with United Way of San Diego County. Monica holds a Master of Public Administration from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Spanish from the University of San Diego.
