Sergio Lopez Gaitan

Sergio Lopez Gaitan serves as the COO and Executive Vice President of Special Projects at Puntored since May 2017, also holding the position of CEO of Puntopay. Responsibilities include overseeing operations, technology, information security, customer service, logistics, and continuous improvement strategies. Additionally, Sergio is a member of the Board of Directors at Banco Mundo Mujer since May 2023. Prior experience spans roles at DHL Global Forwarding, where significant positions included Global Full Potential Manager and Americas Share Service Center Director, as well as co-founding Soluciones Portatiles LTDA and serving as CEO of Conel LTDA. Early career involved project management at the World Bank and entrepreneurial ventures. Educational qualifications include an Associate's degree from Escuela Superior de Guerra and various executive programs from prestigious institutions such as INALDE Business School and Universidad de Los Andes.
