James Hamlin is currently the CMO at WonderBill. Prior to this, they were the Chief Growth Officer at TrustedHousesitters from May 2019 to November 2020. During their time there, they managed all Marketing & Growth for TrustedHousesitters at an Executive level in both a pre and post pandemic travel world. Highlights of their time there include driving double digit acquisition revenue growth on a quarterly basis following 5 proceeding quarters of negative acquisition growth, conducting value proposition research and realignment with target user personas, alongside repositioning strategy from bonus & discount driven to more sustainable owner driven growth, launching the businesses first TV campaign alongside first internal investment in creative, and overseeing growth in key channels including SEO (25% Y-O-Y increase in non branded traffic, despite the pandemic), affiliates and Paid Social.
Before TrustedHousesitters, James Hamlin was the Chief Marketing Officer & Head of Growth at WonderBill from March 2017 to April 2019. Prior to that, they were an Advisor at Football Host and a Mentor at Virgin StartUp. Before that, they were the MD, Europe at TaskRabbit from October 2015 to March 2017.
James Hamlin has a CIM diploma in marketing from the University of Derby, a Bsc in information systems/music technology from the University of Derby, and an HND in computer studies from Kingston College.
They work with Tyson Roche - Head of Information Security, Gary Higham - VP Engineering, and Claire Martin - CFO/COO. James Hamlin reports to Shane Clifford, CEO.
