Dr. Magda Demerritt

Dr. Magda Demerritt is the Founder of WONDERFUL COUNSELOR, LLC. where she provides therapeutic services for individuals/families in the community and conducts community education seminars. She also served as a Quality Assurance and Clinical Compliance Manager at Brave Health, providing leadership to team members on a national scale to meet organizational goals in virtual mental health care. Additionally, she is an Adjunct Instructor at Florida International University, teaching Social Work courses and contributing to the growth of future Social Workers. Dr. Demerritt has also worked as an EAP Counselor, Social Services Supervisor, Program Supervisor, and E/BD Clinician in various organizations, providing therapy, crisis management, and workshops for faculty, staff, and students. She holds a Doctorate of Social Work from Walden University and a Master's degree in Social Work from Florida International University.
