Jerry Tan

Jerry Tan is a software engineer currently working at Tarro since May 2023, previously serving as a senior software engineer at Meta from February 2018 to May 2023, where important contributions included enhancing the privacy sensitivity of Meta Ads and developing monitoring systems. Tan's earlier experience includes a software engineering internship at Microsoft, focused on generating telemetry-guided synthetic data for Bing Ads, as well as internships at Bloomberg LP and research roles at the University of Maryland, where projects involved database API benchmarking and plasma simulations. Jerry Tan holds a Bachelor's Degree in Physics and Computer Science from the University of Maryland and briefly attended the National University of Singapore in 2017.
