Tomas Tokar

Tomas Tokar has a diverse work experience in the field of data science and research. Tomas is currently serving as the Chief Data Scientist at Wondeur Ai since June 2019. Prior to this, they worked as a Data Science - Course Developer at the University of Toronto School of Continuing Studies from July 2018 to November 2019. Tomas also served as a Data Scientist at BenchSci from March 2019 to June 2019.

In terms of research roles, Tomas was a Research Associate at Krembil Research Institute in the University Health Network from November 2017 to March 2019. Before that, they worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Princes Margaret Cancer Centre from October 2013 to October 2017.

Tomas also has experience in lecturing on data science, as they worked as a Data Science Lecturer at TranQuant Inc. from October 2017 to July 2018. Additionally, they served as a Data Scientist at UDIO AgTech from 2016 to 2017.

Earlier in their career, Tomas worked as a Foreign exchange algorithmic trading - Quantitative analyst at SORS Technology from November 2010 to February 2013.

Tomas Tokar began their education in 2002 at the University of P. J. Safarik, Kosice, Slovakia, where they completed a Bachelor's degree in Physics in 2005. Tomas then continued their studies at the same university, obtaining a Master's degree in Biophysics from 2005 to 2007. In 2007, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Biophysics at the University of P. J. Safarik, Kosice, Slovakia, completing the program in 2013. Additionally, in 2007, Tomas Tokar briefly studied Biomathematics, Bioinformatics, and Computational Biology at Stockholm University. In 2009, they engaged in a systems science and theory program at the University of Stuttgart for a brief period.
