Kio Stark

Kio Stark is a Senior Design Researcher at Wondros since March 2019, specializing in qualitative research related to participation in medical research and genomics. Additionally, Kio has maintained a role as a Writer and Speaker since January 2016, focusing on the benefits of social interactions and authoring the book "When Strangers Meet." Kio serves as an Adjunct Professor at NYU's Interactive Telecommunications Program, teaching graduate courses on technology and social dynamics. Past roles include a Visiting Scholar at New York University, a Creative at Google Creative Labs, and a Senior Producer at WNYC Radio Newsroom, where Kio co-led an award-winning data news desk. Kio has a diverse background in copywriting across multiple agencies and held research and leadership positions in various organizations, complemented by advanced degrees from Yale University and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
