Yong Kim is the Co-Founder and CEO at Wonolo. Yong has also served as a Sequoia Capital Scout, and was the Co-Founder of the Coca-Cola Accelerator. Prior to that, they worked as a Vice President in Technology Investment Banking at Deutsche Bank and as a Senior Analyst at Analysis Group.
Yong Kim has always been driven by a strong desire to learn. After completing their undergraduate degree in Economics from Harvard University, they worked as a Senior Analyst at Analysis Group, where they focused on learning as much as possible about the business world. From there, they transitioned to Deutsche Bank, where they quickly rose through the ranks to become a Vice President in Technology Investment Banking.
In 2013, Yong Kim left Deutsche Bank to co-found the Coca-Cola Accelerator, which helps startups in the early stages of development. After successfully running the Accelerator for a year, Yong Kim co-founded Wonolo, a technology platform that connects businesses with on-demand labor. Under Yong Kim’s leadership, Wonolo has become one of the fastest-growing companies in Silicon Valley.
Yong Kim received their MBA from Harvard Business School, their MA in Statistics from Harvard University, and their BS in Economics and Mathematics from the University of Chicago. Yong was also a Leaders In Tech Fellow in 2018-2019. Yong received their high school diploma from Brewster Academy.
