Vanrisch Mclean

Vanrisch McLean is a highly experienced geophysicist currently serving as Director and Head of Geophysics, Surveys and GIS at Wood Thilsted since January 2020. With a rich professional background, Vanrisch has led project development for numerous offshore wind farm initiatives globally, specializing in UXO surveys, seabed surveys, and shallow seismic surveys. Previous experience includes roles at Ørsted as a Geophysicist focused on developing a geological model for the Hornsea 3 offshore windfarm, and positions at Cairn Energy, Vermilion Energy, Perenco, and Centrica Energy, where Vanrisch was responsible for seismic interpretation, depth conversion, and project management. Academic credentials include a Master of Science in Petroleum Geoscience from The University of Manchester and a Bachelor of Science in Physical Geography from the University of Hull.
