Mark M. Ryan has held various roles in the medical field throughout their career. Mark M. started at Pan American Health Organization in 2008 in the Health Systems and Services Unit. Mark M. then joined Beth Israel Medical Center in 2009 as a Resident Physician and later became the Chief Resident from 2012 to 2013. In 2013, they joined Woodlands Medical Specialists as an Internist and in 2016, they became the Medical Director of Woodlands Weight Loss Management and Wellness. In 2014, they also worked as a Clerkship Faculty at Florida State University College of Medicine.
Mark M. Ryan received their education from various institutions. In 2000, they started their undergraduate studies at the University of Notre Dame, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Anthropology, which they obtained in 2004. During this time, they also attended the Boonshoft School of Medicine at Wright State University from 2004 to 2009, earning an MD degree with a focus on International Health. Additionally, they obtained an MBA degree with a specialization in Health Systems Management from the Raj Soin College of Business at Wright State University during the same period.
Mark M. Ryan has further enhanced their qualifications with additional certifications. In 2013, they became a Diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine, and in 2019, they obtained the title of Diplomate of the American Board of Obesity Medicine from the American Board of Obesity Medicine.
