Russell Fortmeyer serves as the Global Sustainability Leader at Woods Bagot since February 2022 and is currently an Adjunct Lecturer at the University of Southern California. Previous roles include Applied Studies Faculty at the Southern California Institute of Architecture (SCI-Arc) and Associate Principal at Arup, where Russell led sustainable design services. Russell has also held teaching positions at the University of Southern California School of Architecture and Woodbury University, and worked as a Senior Editor for Architectural Record/McGraw-Hill. Early career experience includes roles as an Electrical Engineer at Syska Hennessy Group and Arup. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Architecture from UCLA and a Bachelor’s degree in Architectural Engineering from Kansas State University.
