Katherine Spencer-Joyce

Katherine Spencer-Joyce is the Director of Creative and Web at the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution, where Katherine has been employed since July 1998, collaborating with multiple teams to create engaging websites focused on education and collaboration, and has recently obtained certification in User Experience design from the Nielsen Norman Group. From September 2008 to December 2013, Katherine served as a Senior Adjunct Professor at Suffolk University, teaching courses in "Design and Production for Marketing" and "New Media New Markets" to undergraduate students in Communications, Public Relations, and Journalism. Prior to these roles, Katherine was a Senior Graphic Designer at Cape Cod Printing from 1992 to 1998. Katherine holds a Master's degree in Communications from Suffolk University and a Bachelor's degree in Photography from the Maine College of Art & Design.
