Tom Young

Tom Young is an accomplished engineer with extensive experience in operations and manufacturing. Currently serving as Senior Engineer Operations at Woodward, Inc. since February 2012, Tom also founded and operates Custom Rods By Tom Young, dedicated to producing high-quality custom fishing rods. Previous roles include Production Engineer at Hach Company and Mechanical Engineer at Ambient Air Technologies, along with being Operations Manager at Performance Bicycle. Tom holds a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Colorado State University, with additional education in Six Sigma and critical thinking for manufacturers. In 2022, Tom continued professional development at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
