Camilla Hoyos is an established researcher with extensive experience in sleep medicine and dementia research. Currently serving as an NHMRC-ARC Dementia Research Development Fellow at the School of Psychology, Brain and Mind Centre, Charles Perkins Centre at the University of Sydney since May 2013, Camilla focuses on sleep disorders, sleep-wake disturbances, cardio-metabolic dysfunction, and dementia. Additionally, Camilla has been an Honorary Research Fellow at the Woolcock Institute of Medical Research since October 2011, following a role as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Centre for the Integrated Research and Understanding of Sleep (CIRUS). Prior experience includes significant positions at Woolcock Institute from December 2002 to September 2009, where Camilla served as Lead Clinical Research Officer and Clinical Trials Manager. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Sleep Medicine and a Master of Public Health from the University of Sydney, as well as a Bachelor of Science (Honours) and a Bachelor of Applied Science from the University of Newcastle.
