Michael Harper

Michael Harper has extensive work experience in the geospatial field. Michael started their career in the U.S. Army, serving for over 28 years as a Chief Warrant Officer Five in the Geospatial Information Tech role. Michael then transitioned to the U.S. Army Geospatial Center, where they held various positions including Director of the Warfighter Support and Production and Director of the Tactical Source & Enterprise Solutions Directorate. During their time there, they led a team of over 300 employees and was responsible for providing geospatial engineering support to the Army's missions. Harper also worked for the U.S. Department of the Interior as a Principal on the Civil Applications Committee. Currently, they are working at Woolpert, where they have held roles such as Senior Strategist, Geospatial Program Director for Maritime Solutions, and is currently serving as the Director of Global Aviation Operations.
